HOW DOES IT WORK?

A safe, controlled and predictable procedure that gradually removes surface skin cells resulting in improvement of skin texture. Of all skincare actives, glycolic acid molecule is the smallest which increases the speed of absorption into the skin. This also improves the penetration and enhances the activity of other therapeutic agents and ingredients, making them even more effective for the client.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENTS

Between 6-12 treatments are recommended, 1 facial a week although the therapist may suggest to alternate weekly with another peel. These are bespoke to each client.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SKIN PEELS & MICRODERMABRASION?

Microdermabrasion are surface layers whereas the peels can penetrate deeper layers on the skin. Our consultations will reveal which treatment is more suitable to your skin’s goals.

PRE & POST CARE 

Avoid any heat on treated area for 48 hours including sunbeds

Avoid waxing or using any hair removal on the area for 48 hours

Avoid exposure to sun/sunbeds for at least 5 days

Avoid saunas/steam rooms/swimming pools for at least 48 hours

Avoid exercise for 24 hours 

Maintain every 4-6 weeks after the course is finished

Use SPF40 everyday

Avoid touching the area for 24 hours

We recommend that you do not put anything on the skin - including make-up - for at least 12 hours

Avoid fake tan for at least 48 hours

Do not exfoliate the face for at least 4 days 

Moisturise twice daily with the correct moisturiser for your skin - we recommend having a free Nimue skincare consultation to achieve maximum results
